ELECTRI-FLEX manufactures a range of heavy duty liquid tight flexible metallic conduits,
liquid tight type B non-metallic PVC flexible conduits and EMI RFI Shielded liquid
tight flexible metallic conduits, under the LIQUATITE® and SHIELD-FLEX® brand.
Cable protection is an important aspect for any electrical installation. These PVC coated
flexible metal conduits offer complete protection from atmospheric and external elements,
to power & data cables. Compliance to global industry standards ensure zero compromise
on build quality & performance in the field.
This flexibility allows the installer to weave the cables around bends or odd shaped spaces,
saving precious time & costs. Specific variations of these flexible conduits are compliant for
use in hazardous locations. Refer to below list for details.

Classification of Hazardous Zones For Liquid Tight Flexible Conduits : For select parts only
These conduits are intended for use according to the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC CSA 22.1-18) as described in clause 12-1300 for dry, damp or wet locations.

Conforms to CSA C22.2 No. 56-17 Annex A “Heavy Duty”
•
Conduits compliant to Heavy Duty are marked “HD”
•
Suitable as a grounding conductor when used for circuits rated up to 20A
for the 3/8 & 1/2 inch trade sizes and 60A for the 3/4 through 1-1/4 inch
trade sizes in lengths six feet or less per NEC Article 250.118(6). Larger
sizes require separate grounding conductor.
