APPLICATIONS OVERVIEW
Flexible conduits are a popular industry choice
for protection of electrical cables in outdoor and
indoor installations. Flexibility allows the
installer to work around irregular bends and
corners while the conduit protects the power
cables from direct exposure to harsh
mechanical and environmental factors.
Depending on application requirements, flexible
conduits are manufactured in both metallic and
non-metallic versions, with or without external
coatings. The coatings are based on varying
degree of temperature & chemical exposure &
area of application.
Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) conduits are
specifically recommended for enclosed spaces
and public areas. EMI/RFI Shielded flexible
conduits are used for Telecom, Defense &
Aerospace applications. Special range of
conduits are also manufactured for use in Food
& Pharma industries with FDA Approved
coatings.
Over 50 varieties of flexible conduits are
available for use in applications ranging from
Industrial, Telecom, Food & Pharma,
Petro-Chem, Transportation, Aerospace &
Defense, Robotics and many more.
Rapid electrification has created the need to
have cable connections that are not only safe
but offer ease of maintenance also. It is
imperative to ensure a firm electrical
connection so that energy flows uninterrupted.
Choosing the right crimping tool is as important.
It will ensure repeatability of crimping with
same level of accuracy for every connection
made. Since compression lugs are manufactured
in a variety of sizes and materials, as also the
cables, crimping tools ensure the correct
amount of pressure in the right places to
produce a crucial joint that can power up
systems for long lasting operations.
The present generation of electro-hydraulic tools
also provide visual and audible indications to
indicate the correctness of the crimping process.
The option of using a software helps to
download & analyze the entire process data for
future reference & study.
Shear bolt connectors offer a great advantage
over compression terminals. While compression
terminals may be suited for a single cable size
or type, using a Shear Off Screw connector
allow the installer to use one size for across
multiple range of cable sizes and types, thus
helping to reduce inventory. Suitability of use
up to voltages of 36kV is a great advantage.
Excessive heat can be a huge problem for any
system… be it electronic or mechanical. Similarly
there may be situations wherein heating could
be a potential life saver for keeping the system
functional at it’s optimal levels.
Continuous and accurate monitoring of heat &
moisture levels in a system is an important
aspect to be considered when designing any
product. So choosing the right combination of
heaters, thermostats and hygrostats will ensure
smooth functioning of the setup and enhance
the life of it’s components.
DIN rail mount feature offers ease of installation
within a cabinet and quick maintenance in case
of a replacement. PTC type heating technology
incorporates a self regulating property which
reduces operating power in case of excess
temperature operation, thus acting as a safety
feature to prevent untoward incidents.
Electronic hygrostats are an excellent choice to
monitor humidity levels in any panel cabinet.
Precision sensors give the accuracy needed to
set the required moisture level detection in
steps of 5% and also feature a built-in Frost
protection mode, which automatically activates
at low temperatures.
Automation systems require precise feedback to
ensure operation accuracy and speed without
any human intervention.
By using suitable ultrasonic sensors with
adjustable device configurations, it is possible
to implement every conceivable automation
application, with reliability and simplicity.
Be it sensor required for distance measurement,
level or edge detection, for aggressive liquids or
solids, for ultra clean hygienic environments or
other special applications, MICROSONIC sensors
gives system designers a wide range of options
to work with.
With the use of IO-Link interface, sensors and
actuators can be configured, controlled and
diagnosed from a central location without the
use of additional infrastructure, while keeping
downtime to the bare minimum.
Insulation is a very important factor when
building robust and reliable electrical control
and distribution systems. In a highly electrified
world of today, a high power interruption can
cause turmoil and very quickly multiply into a
disaster like situation.
Safety is always a top priority when designing
distribution and control systems. So using the
right insulator product goes a long way in
ensuring that electricity only flows where it is
meant to.
Electrical systems use equipments with varying
degree of operating voltages, very often in a
single system. Protecting low voltage auxiliary
equipment from the high voltage sections is
equally important.
Stand-Off & Support systems ensure adequate
gaps between power lines & equipment along
with the advantage of ease of installation and
maintenance by using industry standard bolting
methods & raw materials with high mechanical
and electrical resistance.

For certain given conditions, industrial systems
that utilize heating devices rely on mechanical
temperature sensors, also known as bimetal
thermostats, for reliable temperature sensing
with low operating costs.
These chassis mount disc type thermostats
produced in ½” & ¾” sizes can be used for
controlling both Heating & Refrigeration
equipments.
A variation of these thermostats are also built
with in a capillary or bulb type construction,
which allows the actual point of temperature
measurement and the bimetal switch to be
placed some distance apart.
A new generation of panel mounted digital
temperature controllers suitable for use at
sub-zero temperatures, gives the user a option
to program system settings via NFC, which
greatly reduces initial setup costs and gives the
option to change the system configuration,
without having to perform a lengthy manual
procedure.
